Tonight we taste not just Beaujolais, but a handful of different expressions of this prolific, dainty and ancient grape known as Gamay Noir. Depending on the character of the soil it grows in, and the hand of the winemaker, Gamay ranges from sharp to plush, easy to complex and some can rival the nuance of any great Pinot.
