Y’all know me, the retailer, and you know there is a winemaker who produces the wine…but betwixt us is a whole system of distribution that is so, so important! These are the importers, distributors and sales people who work behind the scenes to make sure we have the bottles that we want, the information that we need and the wine gears stay well-oiled all year ‘round.

Eric Stone (aka Papa Stone), of Vinea Import, is like a second father to many of us in the wine industry of Seattle. He loves sherry, jamon, his daughters and a good party! Today I hand my wine key, and bank account, over to Eric to select ANY of his favorite wines from the Vinea portfolio to taste!!

No rules, just Eric’s picks - maybe we’ll open some sleeper wines that have been quietly aging in the corner of the warehouse…maybe a rare Oloroso…France, Spain, Portugal?? Come find out!
