There are TWENTY designated wine regions in Italy, each with a lengthy, rich cultural and culinary history of their own. Today we will focus on six wines, from three producers, from three different regions - Friuli, Emilia-Romagna, Piedmont. I welcome guest wine-spert Virginia Samsel to pour with me and expound on the anomalies and techniques that make these wines so uniquely delicious.
